The project is based on a written short story of a man who is trying to escape his life through an old car with its broken AC. Consequently, silkscreen prints come as the main medium to transform the plot twist from a textural format into a visual one abstractly. In addition to that, the video spells out more visual details of the protagonist's suffering, which lasts forever in a repetitive cycle that does not end.
Through that story, the project explores the psychological triggers that pervade our daily lives and the psychological and physical reactions they provoke in us. These auto-centric prints spotlight the commonality of car culture across the Gulf, by evoking a hot care interior in Riyadh when air-conditioning is out of service.
